Rubix3 combines a young dynamic group of individuals spanning the environmental and natural science fields. Our team includes environmental professionals, skilled and experienced business people and young enthusiastic minds, who are dedicated to ensuring better quality outcomes.

James Gibson, Founder

James Gibson is an Environmental Consultant specialising in Contaminated Sites and Acid Sulphate Soils investigation and management. James has a strong background in Earth Science, completing his Bachelors’ degree in 2006 with majors in Soil Science, Land and Water Management and Environmental Geography. James had had varied experience across the environmental industry over the last four years, spanning regulation and planning in the public service, environmental analytical chemistry at one of the state’s leading analytical laboratories, and environmental assessment and management as an Environmental Consultant in the private sector.

Michael Rowe, Founder

Michael Rowe is a young environmental professional with experience in environmental impact assessment, water resource management and mineral resource development. He currently works as an Environmental Officer with the Department of Water Salinity and Water Resource Recovery Branch. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Australia, with majors in land and water management and geography and has undertaken an honours study of nickel release from hyper saline lake sediments. He has over 6 years experience in working with student organisations and has held several executive positions. Michael is an active organiser of events and initiatives to assist the career awareness of students.

Alexander Lawrance, Founder

Alexander Lawrance has extensive experience working with and for student organisations, during which time he has held senior positions as secretary and president of various organisations. He currently works as a Research Officer for the Department of Premier and Cabinet. He has a strong focus on environmental and urban policy development and is an active participant in industry events. Alexander is presently completing a Bachelor degree at Curtin University, majoring in history, politics and economics.
